Vert Beats: New Indoor Training Plan.

New Indoor Free Plan’s

By now, it’s clear that the COVID-19 pandemic has affected all our lives in ways most of us couldn’t have imagined just a few weeks ago.

Even though many of you can still get outside for a run, there are a number of countries and cities that have required everyone to stay indoors. So, for those of you who will be spending more time at home in the next few weeks….we’ve just launched a free “indoor” training plan. It’s specifically designed to maintain your trail fitness in these tough times, and includes trail running HIIT core + strength routines that we’ve designed just for you.

You can sign up for the plan here.

COVID-19 Guide.

We don’t want to overwhelm you with info about COVID-19 as you might already be reading a lot–but this guide from iRunfar, written by Corrine Malcom, is a very nice piece that we definitely recommend reading. If you want specific facts about the virus, its risk, and what it means for runners, it’s a great read.

There are also some stories that are worth reading beside some other resource that you could find interesting.

You can read the guide here.

WHAT INSPIRED US THIS WEEK

What to watch to:

The most famous mountain runner of all time (yep, we’re talking about Kilian) just made a lot of his movies from the series Summit of My Life free to watch. Great content for staying motivated and fired up for when it’s time to get back outside for those long days in the mountains that a lot of us are missing right now.

You can watch the content here.

What to listen to:

Without any races happening in the near future, there is not much news related to the ultra trail scene. So, we leave you with this podcast from Billy Yang and a conversation with two other well-known names from our sport about the COVID-19 situation and how it is impacting athletes and events from all over the world.

You can listen to the podcast here.
