“VERT.RUN TAKES YOU TO RACE IN SOUTH AFRICA” Giveaway

1. ORGANIZER

The company Vert.run (hereinafter, the “Organizer”) is organizing the giveaway called “VERT.RUN BRINGS YOU TO UTCT IN SOUTH AFRICA” (hereinafter, the “Giveaway”), aimed at users with an active subscription on the Vert.run platform.

2. DURATION

The promotional period is from July 28 to September 28, 2025.

Draw will be on Sep 30, 2025

3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

All individuals who meet the following requirements may participate in the Giveaway:

• Maintain an active paid Vert.run Pro or Vert.run Coaching subscription started during the promotional period or prior.
  Note: Free trial periods do not count toward eligibility. Only paid days will be considered.

   

• Be registered on the Vert.run platform with accurate and up-to-date personal information.

   

• Follow the official Vert.run Instagram account.

4. PRIZE

The winner will receive a prize valued at USD 3,000, which includes:

• Round-trip airfare to Cape Town, South Africa

   

• Race entry to Ultra Trail Cape Town (UTCT) – For the distance chosen by the athlete

   

• Accommodation for 3 nights in Cape Town (2 nights before the race and 1 night after)

   

Prize Conditions:

• The prize is personal and non-transferable.

   

• It does not include additional costs such as meals, local transport, travel insurance, or any other expenses not explicitly mentioned.

   

• Travel arrangements will be coordinated between Vert.run and the winner.

   

• If the winner is unable to attend, the prize cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and Vert.run may organize a new draw.

   

5. DRAW

The winner will be selected through a random draw among all eligible participants. The draw will be conducted live on Vert.run’s Instagram account (exact time to be announced).
A record of the draw will be kept for transparency, and it may be either conducted publicly or recorded.

6. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

The winner will be contacted via email within 2 business days following the draw.
Vert.run will also publicly announce the winner on its social media, blog, and/or website.

If the winner does not respond within 2 business days of the first contact attempt, they will forfeit the prize and Vert.run may select a new winner.

7. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

By participating in this Giveaway, users agree that Vert.run may document and share the story of the winner’s experience — including text, photo, and/or video content — for promotional and marketing purposes across its communication channels, without any additional compensation.

8. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTION

Employees of Vert.run, as well as contractors, ambassadors, or individuals directly involved in the organization of the campaign, are not eligible to participate or win the prize.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Travel & Flights

• Flight Cancellations or Delays
  Vert.run is not responsible for any cancellations, delays, or changes to flights due to airline decisions, airport closures, strikes, weather conditions, or other external factors.

   

• Missed Connections or Itinerary Changes
  Vert.run will not cover additional expenses arising from missed flight connections or itinerary modifications.

   

• Passport, Visa & Immigration Issues
  The winner is solely responsible for ensuring they possess a valid passport, visa (if required), and meet all entry requirements for South Africa. Vert.run assumes no liability for issues related to immigration or incomplete documentation.

   

Accommodation

• Changes in Accommodation Availability
  Vert.run reserves the right to adjust the accommodation provided in case of unavailability. No compensation will be provided for differences in quality, location, or amenities.

   

Race Participation

• UTCT Cancellation or Changes
  If the UTCT event is postponed, cancelled, or modified by the race organizers, Vert.run is not responsible for refunds or alternative compensation.

   

• Winner’s Inability to Participate
  If the winner is unable to attend the event for any reason (including injury or illness), the prize will be forfeited and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternatives.

   

 Platform & Technology

• App or Website Technical Issues
  Vert.run is not responsible for technical difficulties, errors, or outages on its app or website that may impact campaign access or subscription management.

   

• Payment Processing Errors
  Vert.run disclaims any liability for failed subscription payments due to third-party processing errors (banks, credit cards, payment gateways, etc.).

   

Communication

• Unreachable Winner
  If the selected winner cannot be contacted within 2 days of the draw, Vert.run reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

   

• Incorrect User Data
  Vert.run is not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate personal data provided by the participant (e.g., email address, name, or billing details).

   

General Terms

• Right to Modify or Cancel the Campaign
  Vert.run reserves the right to suspend, modify, or cancel the campaign at any time, with or without prior notice, in the case of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.

   

• No Cash Alternative
  The prize is non-redeemable for cash and may not be exchanged for any other product or service.

   

• Assumption of Risk
  By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges and accepts all personal risks associated with international travel and participation in a trail running race such as UTCT.
